Arcadia Match® SC range is the ultimate Aluminium grating and sunshading system. The SC range integrates the 2 solutions of solar shading and trafficable walkways in one. This engineered system is used on commercial buildings for external access walkways for cleaning and maintenance. Panels are made up of extruded aluminium louvre profiles and cross bars swaged together. There are a range of profile sizes and spacings available in the Match® grating range to suit your walkway loads, span requirements, windloads and solar shading requirements. Sunshade louvre panels are modularised for efficient installation onsite and can be connected to structural steel, concrete or general structure in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

Features

Factors to consider

There are a couple of considerations you will need to keep in mind when integrating the Match® Grating system into your project. Firstly the use and application should be considered. This could include Screening, Privacy, Decorative Feature, or security screening. Secondly you should consider blade profile and sizing. Thirdly, product span should be considered based on the blade profile chosen, location of the project, terrain categories and wind loadings. Fourthly, consideration should be given to Structural requirements based on the above. Arcadia have a team of highly experienced staff that are available to discuss the options available and assist with Match® Grating calculations or assist with engineering a complete solution ready to be incorporated architecturally.

Screening and Free Area

The Arcadia Match® G & Match® S are often a great solution for screening, privacy, and security. These swaged aluminium louvre systems have high Free Area and airflow performance enabling excellent airflow in applications connected to mechanical plant or areas requiring natural ventilation. Carparks storage areas and bin stores often need a screening and security solution - Match® Grating Louvres are a great modular solution which is cost effective and efficient.

Hybrid Walkways & Sunshades

The Arcadia Match® Grating Panels can be integrated into a building façade to provide solarshading to reduce heatloads and glare, while also providing a maintenance walkway for external maintenance and window cleaning. The Grating system is connected to structural outriggers and based on the selected profile spans up to 2.7m with a service live load of 2.5 KPa. Select from the Match SC or Match GC range for a Trafficable system.
