How is Ventilation required under Australian Standards and BCA
The Building Code of Australia (BCA) states “Natural ventilation … must consist of openings, windows, doors or other devices which can be opened – with a ventilating area not less than 5% of the floor area of the room required to be ventilated”.
AS1668.4 states “Natural ventilation shall be provided to an enclosure by direct ventilation openings that have an area not less than 5% of the floor area of the enclosure”.
Using Tested and Engineered Performance Ventilation

All products must be tested to AS4740 and meet the requirements for Cd (Coefficient of Discharge), Rain Defence, Fire & Smoke and Wind Loading Resistance.
